For Patients
We provide comprehensive care for adults, teens, and children 10 years and older. It is important for children to start seeing the dentist as soon as most of the primary teeth have erupted — usually by age three. Dr. Box has always believed that an introduction of a child to the dentist should be very positive and in an atmosphere geared for treating children. Thus he recommends that children see a pedodontist (children's dentist) as early as possible. The pedodontist can best give your child the special attention he or she may need in the developing years. Please call our office for recommendations for your children's dental care.
When we see a new patient for the first time, we assume that we are beginning a long term relationship. Some of Dr. Box's patients have been with him since he started practice in 1976. Because we want our patients to have the best possible oral health for as long as possible, it is vital that we establish the current conditions of the entire oral system — teeth, gums, bone, tongue, joints — and determine what the patient's needs, desires, and expectations are before we undertake even the most minor treatment. One of the most important things we can do is to educate our patients and give them the necessary information to make informed decisions about their unique needs or desires.
